Meet Janette :)
I am Janette Li, currently I am a UX designer intern at The Hive, UBC, where I created educational experience by using virtual reality technology for the Faculty of Medicine in UBC.
I received master degree of Digital Media at the The Center for Digital Media, where I cooperated with classmates with interdisciplinary backgrounds to create industry projects.
PREVIOUSLY
Previously, I was an entrepreneur and product manager for an e-learning company. I studied Cultural Industry Management and Philanthropy Management at the Beijing Normal University, China.
DESIGN FOR ME
My entrepreneur experience inspires me to design meaningful solutions balancing user experience and business goals. I found myself fascinated by synthesizing user's data and visualizing ideas by design, and surprisingly excited when receiving a positive user feedback. That's what bring me to become a product designer.
